There's a new iPhone app in Cydia called Auto3G which helps saving battery on your iPhone 4, 3GS and 3G. It requires you to jailbreak your phone for you able to use it. The said application will turn off your 3G radio when you lock your phone and switching it to 2G (EDGE) signal. It turns the 3G radio signal on upon unlocking your phone again.
You can find and download Auto3G in Cydia for $5.99. Before installing it please read the system requirements. It requires iOS 4.0.2 / 3.2.2 jailbroken iPhone. How to jailbreak your phone? hmmm... Ok, click here.
If you have a first generation iPhone (2G) you can simply ignore this application. :P
Well, what can I say. There's a free application in Cydia also called SBsettings. It has a lot of toggles. To my fellow iPhone users, you know what I am saying.

Syril vs the Techie Guard
My colleague borrowed my external hard disk drive. It take a month before it came back to me. But it's ok, it got a lot of stuff... When I got it, it didn't came with the USB cable... its missing.
Well the security guard heard my conversation with a friend, I was looking for the USB cable...
After few minutes... the guard told me... "you can use a USB printer cable for that, it's just the same"
and he left me nothing but a WOW!

Syril vs the Alpha Dog
When we were told that they are going to put a leader on our team, I'm the one who resisted on that idea. We are thinking that we don't need a leader and we can work without a leader. Just FYI, our group, retail specialist, came from different team, selected to support retail software and hardware issues of one of the biggest name in shoe brand, Nike. We are kind of SWAT or lets just say a specialized group supporting the Nike retail stores in the whole world.
After awhile, I realized that he was what we actually needed, a leader, an alpha dog of the pack.
I like talking to someone who has a lot of idea and wisdom. He's not the wisest man I ever met but atleast he got something to say in somethings. Most of the time we share the same idea. Only he doesn't know that we have the same idea. I often don't like some of his ideas that came from somebody elses head which is his boss. Well, atleast now, the pack can hunt together and fight together as team, like wolves.

Say Hello to Internet Explorer 9
I'm not a fanatic of Internet Explorer web browser and personally, I don't normally use it. But the way it looks right now, well it won't change my mind, hahaha. Well it's still under construction or like the geek says it's on beta version. Peep, take a peek of the IE9.

Why Everybody Hates a Villain?
Recently, a certain ex-policeman hostage a bus with 25 Chinese nationals in Manila. The whole hostage drama took 11 hours to get resolve. As a result 8 Chinese died and also the villain.
People hates villain but for me, I always have a tendency to like them, odd huh? but I dont think so. I remember Green Goblin said to Spiderman "In spite of everything you've done for them, eventually they will hate you". Well the guy who hijacked the bus was, they say, a good policeman. They said that he was a decorated policeman and one of the top 10 police of the country back on his glory days until he turned into the dark side. But why? Well, for some reason he was dismissed on his duty being a policeman, without benefits or whatsoever. What the H? how do you expect this man to survive? I think with all these things and reasons, some good guys are turned to bad guys. The same reason why Anakin Skywalker turned to the dark side. I guess he was thinking about this love ones. The hostages said that he was kind and calm right until he saw his brother getting arrested on TV... well there is a TV inside a tourist bus.
So why hate them if they were used to be the good guy? Is it unfair to hate them? Is it much better if we give them some lovin' and understanding?
I made some survey to my officemates why they hate a villain, here it goes:
- The girl villains all have the pretty clothes, goodlooking boyfriends that are head over heels sa kanila kaya nauuto nila and nice eyebrows! - Cathy
- Manipulative..cunning - Randy
- Because they hinder my happiness….. wahahha. - April
- Rather hate… I’d rather love them. They are more concentrated and focus! - Thunder Mags McLeod
Oh well, for me they shouldn't be hated... they are actually magnifying every goodness in this world.
